One of the things that I’m sure you’ve heard is that it’s also a place where you can make money. Believe it or not, but it’s true. You’ve probably even seen websites or ads that talk about making money from home and using their system to make money fast and easy. Let me tell you that there are tons of ways that you can make money on the internet!

You’re probably wondering how you can make some of this money. Well, I don’t have a special system or anything fancy to sell to you, but I do have experience and advice for you. Let’s begin by talking a little about Google AdSense. So what exactly is it and what does it do? Google AdSense is a free program ran by Google that allows you to earn money by putting their ads on your website. They have companies they advertise for and you get these ads and put them on your website. Google shares some of the money they make with you for advertising for them. Sounds easy, right?
If this sounds like something you are interested in or just want to try, then here are the steps to follow to get started. I would encourage you to try it if you are still unsure. It’s really easy to do and does not take much time.
(It’s also a good idea to create a Gmail account if you don’t have one already. It makes things much easier with Google and will also help when we get into tracking with Google Analytics).

STEP 1
Go to www.google.com and do a search for google adsense.

 STEP 2
Click on the “SIGN UP NOW” at the top right hand corner of the page.

STEP 3
Input the information listed and then push “Submit Information” at the bottom.

STEP 4
Go to the “My ads” tab.

STEP 5
Click on “+New ad unit”.

STEP 6
Customize your ad unit here. Name your ad so you can identify it from other ads you create later. You can also pick the size and media content of each ad. Click on the blue link that says, “View examples of ad types and sizes” to take a look at the various choices.
Choose the custom setting to edit the font colors, sizes, and texts here.
Push “Save and get code>>”.

STEP 7
Copy and paste the code into your website.
